Noise Complaints

How do I deal with loud, nuisance noises?

To issue a noise complaint, call 831-6311 or 996-3335. For information on noise ordinances, call 996-3040.

Pets

What is the "pooper scooper" law?

The City of Raleigh requires that all dog owners pickup after their dog "poops" in the city limits.

Storm Water Runoff

Who do I contact for issues with the storm water drainage and dry pond?

The city of Raleigh requires that areas designated as part of the Neuse River Basin remain in a natural state. The dry pond and some of the wooded areas within our community are such spaces. Because these are part of the Neuse River Basin, we can only do a few things to maintain the areas. Generally most improvments or repairs require a permit or must be done by the city.

Street Lights

Who do I contact for street light problems?

If there are lights that do not work, go on and off or have other issues, please call Progress Energy - (919) 508-5400 to report the problem. You may also report the outage online by clicking here.

If a light is flickering or completely out, write the number that's on the plate on the pole down, call Progress Energy, give them the number and it helps them locate the exact location of the pole so that the problem may be corrected.
